Small woodland owners are required to maintain a harvest rotation, but also want to grow forest for natural habitat. We understand how to balance these goals. After harvest, we will identify realistic opportunities to increase canopy diversity that yields both profit and abundant habitat value for the next generation. Mixed species forests experience greater survival and resilience towards wildfire (in our increasingly unpredictable climate). And optional understory planting and maintenance practices reduce long-term damage from invasive species. Our ecological approach, and dedicated stewardship help ensure a thriving legacy.
